At One Yoga TT we believe that through yoga we ALL can achieve a state of being where mind, body, and spirit become one, even if just for a second.
We hope to bring new and old practitioners of yoga to a place of alignment where they can discover their breath and, through focus of body and mind, eventually gain the courage to come into their own divine strengths. We pride ourselves in safe alignment, sequencing and attention to injury and limitations. Our goal is to keep classes fresh and fun while challenging students in their own right, leaving them feeling grounded and inspired.
At One Yoga TT we are firmly committed to practicing our yoga on and off the mat. People come to yoga for many reasons – some come to sweat and exercise, others to lose weight, or gain focus and strength, discover breath, spiritual inspiration, or general well being. Regardless of their reasons for coming to yoga, at One Yoga TT we encourage our students to not only practice yoga on their mat, but to take yoga into their everyday lives, into their thoughts, words, and actions.
Yoga, is the science of uniting the body, mind and spirit. It would therefore be unfair of us to offer our students methods of developing themselves in any one area, without attention to the others. Hence, while asana (postures) practice may seem to focus on physical fitness, we make it our duty to plant seeds and encourage growth, understanding and confidence on mental and spiritual levels as well.
Being that we are all connected, we must first begin working on ourselves before we can begin to inspire those around us, in order to collectively change the world.
